Beekeeper's Butter Hats Vol. 1

Add some authenticity to your productions with these live recorded hi-hat loops played by Johnny "Beekeeper" Bogansky, Philadelphia-based drummer and producer.

This sample pack offers recording of two different close-mic recordings with mic choice as well as drum mic bleed tracks from 10+ different drum and room mics all recording at the same time.

These recordings are unprocessed. Straight from mic to DAW, no preamps or other tinkerings.

The hi-hats used were 1970s 13" Zildjian A hats, which I like to call the "Butter Hats" - I use these for every gig I do, and they are silky smooth.

All files are separated by mic choice. These mics include
- Soyuz 017 Tube
- Shure SM7B
